Privacy Policy

The short version

Off Label is a reference site. You can read everything on it without an account, and we collect as little as possible.

What we collect

• Form submissions. If you submit a beer or a partner inquiry, we receive what you typed (such as a brewery name, your email address, and links you provide). Forms are delivered by Formspree, our form processor, which handles that data under its own privacy policy.
• Analytics. If analytics are enabled, we use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic (pages visited, approximate location, device type). This data does not identify you to us by name. [CONFIRM: remove this section if analytics are not enabled at launch.]
• Local preferences. Your age-gate acknowledgment and banner-collapse preference are stored in your own browser (localStorage) and are never sent to us.

We do not sell personal information, run tracking pixels of our own, or maintain user accounts.

Affiliate links and ads

Some outbound links may be affiliate links, and some placements are paid — both are labeled on the page where they appear. If ads are enabled, Google AdSense may use cookies as described in Google's own policies. Clicking an outbound link takes you to a site with its own privacy practices, which we don't control.
